What will you keep after selling a coin?
Net proceeds = item price + shipping collected - percentage fees - fixed fees - postage - other selling costs. Profit then subtracts what you paid for the coin. Buyer tax is excluded from revenue, even when a platform includes it in its fee calculation.
Compare the same costs
A $200 item sale with a 10% item-only fee, $5 fixed costs and $10 postage leaves $165 before item cost. If the coin cost $120, the estimated profit is $45. The example uses illustrative terms, not a marketplace quote.
Change the fee base to match your actual terms. For example, eBay explains that its final-value fee can include buyer shipping and sales tax, and rates depend on category, seller setup and other conditions. Enter an effective rate; this worksheet does not model tiered schedules, caps, refunds, currency conversion or every seller surcharge.
The target price keeps entered shipping, tax and fixed costs constant. If buyer tax changes with price, update it and calculate again. The tool estimates sale math before income taxes, not an appraisal or guarantee of sale. A dealer offer is a user-entered comparison.
Research comparable sold coins in Value Evidence Desk, then prepare accurate copy in the Coin Listing Generator.

The sale-price scenarios compare prices 10% below and above the entered price with the same fees, buyer shipping, tax and costs. They are arithmetic scenarios, not estimates of what a buyer will pay.
