What the current Mint listing says
The official 26EK product page now supplies figures that were pending when this article was first published. On September 16 it displays a $1,895.00 price, a mintage limit of 5,000, a product limit of 5,000 and no household order limit. Its availability label reads “Currently Unavailable.” Check that live page again before making a purchase decision.
The specifications identify one troy ounce of 99.95% palladium, a $25 denomination, a 34.03 mm diameter and a reeded edge. The coin carries the W mintmark. For the Semiquincentennial issue, the listing describes a 1776–2026 dual date and a Liberty Bell privy mark with 250.
Release date and current availability answer different questions
September 3 is retained as the announced launch date, not as an upcoming reminder. A past release date does not show whether an order can be placed today. Likewise, a displayed price is not proof of available inventory.
Do not replace the Mint’s availability wording with “sold out” unless the Mint actually gives that status. We have not established a restock date or quantity available for a future order. An old social post or cached search snippet may still describe the pre-release page; the current product listing should be checked directly.
Limits are not sales totals
The 5,000 limits are posted production/product ceilings, not evidence that 5,000 coins have sold. A household limit concerns how many an eligible household may order under the current rule. “None” in that field does not mean unlimited inventory or a guaranteed ability to place an order.

A checklist for reading the listing now
- Match the item number. Confirm 26EK and the palladium uncirculated product, rather than another American Eagle metal or finish.

- Read availability separately. Do not infer that an order is possible merely because a price remains visible.
- Keep original-release information labeled. September 3 belongs to the launch history, not a future buying schedule.
- Evaluate any resale offer on its own terms. Verify the actual coin, seller, full price and return policy; a Mint product page does not authenticate a third-party listing.
How this differs from the enhanced Silver Eagle
The 2026 American Eagle Silver Enhanced Uncirculated Coin is a separate product with a different metal, finish and release conditions. Its price or availability is not evidence about 26EK. Keeping the complete product name with each record helps avoid that mix-up.
