$10 Bill Error List: Four Real Printing Mistakes
These are four real $10 bill errors. Click an error name to read CoinHub's explanation.
$10 Bill Errors:
- 1950A — Mismatched serial numbers on a star note (sold $2,880; PMG 64 EPQ; Aug. 31, 2025).
- 1985 — Obstructed face printing (sold $180; PCGS 66 PPQ; Dec. 30, 2020).
- 1988A — Tripled back printing, with an ink stain (PMG 63; price not quoted).
- 1993 — Upside-down overprint (PMG 40 EPQ; price not quoted).
Value note: Prices are past Heritage auction sales, not today's values or CoinHub offers. Grade and error size matter. See what grades mean.
A series date or star alone is not an error. A star marks a replacement note. Ordinary creases and stains are different from printing errors.
